What devices are compatible?
Any Android 6.0+ phone or tablet with NFC can run the Reader app. We can also ship you a pre-loaded terminal, ready to mount. Budget tablets from €80 work perfectly.
Can workers use phones instead of cards?
Yes. The free Worker app turns their phone into an NFC badge via HCE — it works even with the screen off, and mixing cards, phones and fingerprints on one site is fine.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The terminal keeps reading. Check-ins queue locally with their original timestamps — up to 50,000 events — and sync automatically when the connection returns.
How long does deployment take?
About 15 minutes: power the terminal, sign in, register workers by tapping their cards. No installers, no wiring.
Can I export data for payroll?
Yes — one-click PDF and Excel reports filtered by date, worker or site, formatted for payroll processing.
How secure is the system?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest with row-level security per organization. Fingerprints are matched locally on the device — images are never stored or uploaded.
